Sam B. Liu came to the United States from China as a child, attended medical school to become a surgeon and joined the Army in World War II. Learn about Dr. Liu's experiences during the war in North Africa, Italy and the Philippines as well as the stories of other Asian Americans who served. Included in the presentation are his original uniform, photos, and documents from his experience in World War II. Presented by San Jacinto College history professors Luis Reyes and Paul McRee.
