FAIRMONT: Harris County Public Health - Eating Well for Healthy Aging

Join Mariana Rendon Flores, Registered Dietitian with Harris County Public Health, for an engaging session on building balanced, healthy meals for aging well. Participants will learn about key food groups—protein, dairy and healthy fats, vegetables and fruits, and whole grains—and the nutrients most important for healthy aging, including protein, fiber, calcium, vitamin B12, and antioxidants. The session includes an interactive activity and a take-home resource to help participants apply what they’ve learned in everyday life.
